About Lakeside Chiropractic Seminars

Mission Statement

Lakeside Chiropractic Seminars is dedicated to setting a new standard in continuing education for Doctors of Chiropractic.

Our seminar objectives are directed not only to satisfy license renewal obligations but also to equip the chiropractors of today with the latest systems and techniques to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

Our History

Lakeside Chiropractic Seminars, Inc. was founded in Charlotte, NC by John Heggie, DC and Joyce Battaglia, DC in 1999. Dr. Heggie & Dr. Battaglia were focused on bringing quality seminar instructors from around the country to teach the chiropractors in the southeast. They saw a need in the southeast for continuing education seminars in the mid-sized cities.

Many chiropractors are not willing to travel to a large city or not able to afford the additional expenses and inconveniences of traveling to a large city where most popular seminars are held. Lakeside Chiropractic Seminars, Inc. sought to fill this focused market and provide quality seminars taught by the country's top chiropractic instructors.

Lakeside Chiropractic Seminars, Inc. teamed-up with Logan College of Chiropractic to accredit the courses taught by their instructors. This would enable all courses taught through Lakeside Chiropractic Seminars, Inc. to be used as license renewal credits for each state.

In addition to providing license renewal courses, Lakeside Chiropractic Seminars, Inc. set out to create a "Chiropractor's Experience". The "Chiropractor's Experience" includes offering upgrades for each seminar that would enhance the chiropractors comfort, knowledge gained, and fellowship during course. This is how upgraded seating, mid-day meal with the instructor, and a social snack breaks with homemade chocolate chip cookie, fruit, and vegetables was born.

The inaugural year included seminars taught by instructors from Colorado, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
